A Tireless Advocate for Women’s Health

Dr. Angela Marshall, President and CEO of Comprehensive Women’s Health, has a passion for women’s health that has made her a sought-after expert nationally. To date, more than 11,000 women have been patients at her two thriving practices located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

A contributing health expert on CNN, Fox5 News, NPR and Let’s Talk Live, she shares advice on a variety of health issues that affect women differently than men such as depression, weight gain, heart attacks and arthritis. One area of particular interest to Dr. Marshall is self-care among women of color.

A Board Certified Internist and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. Marshall began her career as an Electrical Engineer for the CIA after earning a degree from Georgia Tech. Although she enjoyed the field of engineering, she decided to combine her love for science and passion for helping people by pursuing a career in women’s health.

Why Women’s Health

“I focus on women’s health because of the acute need and the lack of comprehensive care. Women have unique health issues and often suffer from lack of prevention and treatment as well as incorrect diagnosis.”
